July 4th Recipe Round-Up

I've rounded up my favorite recipes for July 4th! They can all be made in advance (except for the Watermelon Blueberry Feta Salad), which is key for any holiday meal in my opinion!

Creamy Lemon Bars

There’s nothing better than a sweet and tangy lemon bar! Make them creamy and it’s almost like cheating. Not to mention the buttery shortbread crust! These bars are the perfect combination of salty & sweet.

No-Churn Blueberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

Since July is one of the hottest months of the year, Independence Day and ice cream go hand-in-hand! If you are making this for a crowd I would definitely double or triple the recipe. Cannot wait for y’all to try this! After the first bite, I would like to officially invite you to the no-churn ice cream fan club!

Watermelon Blueberry Feta Salad

This is not your typical fruit salad, in fact, I would relate it to a Caprese salad in terms of concept and flavor! The olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and feta paired with the watermelon, blueberries, and freshly chopped mint makes the perfect combination. The mint literally brings this salad to LIFE and ties everything together!

Strawberry Cupcakes

These strawberry cupcakes are some of my absolute favorites! I especially love how thick and fluffy the frosting is. Using strawberry puree gives the icing and cake a natural pale pink tint, which I love because it signifies they were made from scratch.

Blueberry Peach Cobbler

One of the BEST things about this Blueberry Peach Cobbler is the crust — it’s absolutely delicious! More importantly, it can be thrown together in a matter of minutes and requires zero time in the refrigerator to chill! Another huge draw? It doesn’t have to be rolled out either — aka huge time saver! The more “imperfect” the crust looks the better! You can simply use a large spoon to drop the dough over the fruit to resemble uneven cobblestones (hence the name cobbler).

Southern Grape Salad

It’s ALL in the name y‘all, this grape salad is as “Southern” as it gets! If you’re looking for a perfect dessert salad to make for July 4th, look no further! The fresh cold grapes mixed with cream cheese, brown sugar, and pecans equals a dream come true.

Caramel Chip Bars

These Caramel Chip Bars are soft, chewy, gooey, and decadently delicious! The mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped heath bar, and white chocolate chips give these bars a wonderful texture! These bars can be made completely beforehand and stored in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

Blueberry Banana Cream Pie

There is just something about the combination of blueberries and bananas that equals perfection. I highly recommend making this the day it will be served, so the crust is crumbly and the bananas are still a little firm! Just a warning, you and your guests will definitely be coming back for seconds, so be sure to make plenty to go around!
