Top Five Valentine's Day Desserts

I’ve rounded up my TOP FIVE favorite desserts for Valentine’s Day y’all! Want to know the beauty of every single recipe?! They can all be made in advance, which is key for me! So take a look below and pick one or two desserts to make for your special someone or favorite Galentine to let them know how much you LOVE them!! “Nothing says lovin’ like something from the oven,” right?!! 🥰

If you want to know a little secret I make the Strawberry Cupcakes every single year for my hubby — it’s been a tradition since we college! The past few years I started getting him a bottle of Four Roses whiskey and then I tie a red bow on it and have the cupcakes in a cute little box. 🍓🧁🌹🥃

Hershey's Dark Chocolate Cake

This moist and decadent dark chocolate cake is BEYOND delicious! And the icing is divine -- y’all know I love a good icing to cake ratio! ;) If you have a chocolate lover in your life -- THIS DESSERT IS FOR THEM!! Adding boiling water to a cake batter is most definitely not the norm, but I promise you this is what makes the cake SUPER moist!

Strawberry Cupcakes

These strawberry cupcakes are some of my absolute favorites! I especially love how thick and fluffy the frosting is. Using strawberry puree gives the icing and cake a natural pale pink tint, which I love because it signifies they were made from scratch.

Valentine Blondies

This is the perfect treat to make for a special someone or just yourself! 🥰 My favorite thing about blondies is how they are gooey on the inside, but just a little crisp on the outside. If you’ve never tasted one, think of a brownie made with chocolate chip cookie dough. Can you think of a better combination?!

Strawberry Banana Cream Pie

This dreamy pie is the PERFECT sweet treat to make for your special someone on Valentine’s Day! Think graham cracker crust + bananas + sweetened cream cheese + strawberry compote + freshly whipped cream! 😍 Strawberries paired with bananas equals an AMAZING flavor combination! You can most definitely make this pie ahead of time, but I would highly suggest making it the same day that you are going to serve it!

Flourless Chocolate Cookies

These are some of my ALL. TIME. FAVORITE. cookies y'all. And I'm not a huge chocolate lover so that's really saying something. If you don't want to go to the trouble of making a cake for the chocolate lover in your life -- these cookies are made for you! They only require SIX INGREDIENTS and I bet you have almost all of them already in your pantry! The best way I can describe these cookies is a thin gooey brownie. YUMMM!!!
